Chamber jazz reflections on scenes of northern Michigan, Forest of Horns is a project featuring all new music and arrangements from Andy Hunter for a 9-piece ensemble made up of the jazz quartet SPOKE + a classical Brass Quintet. It was broadcast live at Shapeshifter Labs, Brooklyn in a January 2014 debut concert in NYC featuring SPOKE with Alex Sipiagin and Jonathan Powell (trumpets), John Clark (french horn), Ryan Keberle (trombone) and Ben Stapp (tuba),

SPOKE, during their 2014 North America and Australia tour promoting their 3rd album did a residency at Central Michigan University, where they had workshops with the jazz students and did a concert of the project with the CMU Faculty Brass Quintet, recorded for radio broadcast.
